Sonic Screwdriver Doctor Who

Johnlock Fic Rec!

Alright. I’m going to need you to keep an open mind, because this is one of the sweetest, most lovely fanfictions I’ve ever read. Maybe I’m just hormonal.

Whatever.

It’s called It’s So Much More by dorothydonne on AO3.

It’s got 17026 words in total, totaling in two pleasantly long chapters.

To give a few points of the story without giving away all the good bits…

  • Sherlock and John have been in a relationship for an undefined, but long enough time.
  • They’re trying for a baby! :3
  • Sherlock has body issues regarding his changing body.
  • John is generally a saint.

Yes.

I do know what you’re thinking.

REALLY? MPREG? YOU’RE RECOMMENCING I READ MPREG?

Yes I am.

It’s sincerely wonderful, and I’m not lying when I say that it brought tears to my eyes a couple times.

So just read it.

No such thing as too much fanfiction.

Never.

However, I do have to wake up in just under four hours and get ready for work.

The prospect of having more to read when I get home keeps me going.

SO DON’T STOP WRITING, ANY OF YOU.

IF YOU DO, I MAY WELL JUST KEEL OVER.

Signs that you’ve read something amazing.

It’s five in the morning and I’m hardly tired. In reading this I feel as though I’ve gone through every possibly emotion at least twice. I am emotionally, if not technically physically, exhausted.

It feels amazing.

To read new things, to gain fantastic new information is unlike anything I’ve ever felt.

Things that are so well written that I can see exactly what’s going played out in my mind as I read are the very best thing in the world. I crave it. It is, truly, the very center of my being.

I love well written things.

EMOTIONSSSSSSSSS

Currently reading I Believe in John Watson, a fanfiction by Nightmar-Kisser.

OH my god, I don’t know what my emotions are doing right now. Seriously, this woman is a fantastic writer. I can’t get over it.

This story is a very interesting twist on Reichenbach Fall, in that instead of Sherlock pretending to plunge to his death, it’s John. There have been a lot of tears involved.

Seriously though, read this. I’ve read all of her Sherlock fanfiction, and it’s all fucking amazing. Get on it, guys.

EXCERPT TIME.
They are dancing around one another. Sherlock had never thought much about that phrase in the past, but now it makes sense. They are avoiding the issue at hand: the fact that they both realized they couldn’t stand to be apart from one another permanently, or even for extended periods of time. They balance one another out too well to be separated now that they’ve met and grown to be as fond as the other as they are.”
