Every time I look at Paula’s art, I can’t help but think always:

“This is some raw, brilliant, and fucking amazing talent.”

Because I mean look at it. Look really hard and spot EVERY detail she puts in every single one of her pieces. She did this one in 40 minutes.

My name is Chihiro

My real name is Chihiro.

Though my name on Tumblr is kinkey, I don’t post anything kinkey. (maybe occasionally…)

I used to hate my name because the girl I hated the most was also named Chihiro. (She was mean to me.) But when I came to the U.S to study at high school two years ago, some people recognized my name and got excited. (Now I’m in the U.S college.)

I was really happy about that. From that time, I started introducing my name, same as the girl in “Spirited Away”. I know some people might think it’s stupid to be proud of something which is not my accomplishment, but still I’m proud that I’m from the country of ghibli.

Even though I’m not very patriotic, I still get hurt when someone talks bad about Japan. At the same time, I’m happy when someone talks to me and says something nice about Japan. It must be because I actually really like Japan. I want to thank ghibli for making one of the reasons to like my country and culture.

I’m sorry for making you read my long not-so fun letter. Thank you.
